Hygiene

I always try to shake a man's hand after he comes out of the bathroom. If he hesitates, he's either overly fastidious or he cravenly tried to get away without washing them, and either way I'll learn something about his character. Anyone who does not hesitate and whose hands are slightly wet, I trust, because it's almost impossible for them not to be damp after washing. I mistrust anyone who readily takes my hands with his own dry ones: it means he doesn't believe that rules apply to himself. The slightly unhygenic nature of the excercise is nothing compared to the toxic risk of misjudging someone's character.
